Playing with cats at the Best Friends Animal Society in beautiful Angel Canyon, Kanab, Utah. When at home in New Jersey I volunteer with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), socializing cats, working with the Animal Behavior Department and helping to train new volunteers.

I enjoy cooking and especially baking (the photo near the top of the page is a cake I made for a friends' engagement party). Here's one of the 10 different kinds of cookies that two friends and I make over a weekend every holiday season. We've gotten together for the past 20 years or so and baked herds of cookies to give out to family, friends, etc. Our record is just shy of 2,000 cookies.
